Alveley Halt opened in 1939, serving Alveley Colliery (the halt did not appear in public timetables). It was situated near the present Country Park Halt but a little closer to Highley Station. No traces of the halt remain today.
A level crossing was situated next to the Halt, beyond the DMUDiesel Multiple Unit in the Sellick Photograph.
