- 1956 The signal box, DownIn reference to the direction of travel means away from the major terminus (i.e. towards Bridgnorth on the present day SVR) line and platform at Ironbridge were taken out of use by BRBritish Rail or British Railways.[1]
- 1967 GWR 0-6-0PT 813 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway from Backworth Colliery in Northumberland.[2]
- 2000 A train hauled by 8FThe British Railways system of classifying steam locomotives by power using a number from 0, least powerful, to 9, most powerful, followed by either F for freight, P for Passenger or MT for Mixed Traffic. 48773 was in collision with a van on Northwood Crossing. The SVRSevern Valley Railway was later absolved of any blame.[3]
