On July 31 in SVRSevern Valley Railway history.
- 1868 The GWRGreat Western Railway Act (ch 145) revived powers for construction of the Kidderminster Loop Line.[1]
- 1949 WR Pannier 1501 entered service at London’s Old Oak Common
- 1961 Passenger services were withdrawn on the Wyre Forest Line between Woofferton and Tenbury Wells.[2]
- 1962 Passenger services were withdrawn on the remaining section of the Wyre Forest Line between Kidderminster and Tenbury Wells.[3]
- 1971 1501 left Coventry Colliery, hauled by rail to Tyseley for wheel turning prior to a move to the SVRSevern Valley Railway.[4]
- 1984 BR Standard 75069 moved under its own steam for the first time in 18 years.[5]
- 1994 Kidderminster Turntable was connected to the SVRSevern Valley Railway network
- 1999 1501 took part in a three day Allied Steel and Wire photography event in Cardiff[6].
