GWRGreat Western Railway Fruit Van 3429

This long wheelbase ‘Fruit D’ Van is a GWRGreat Western Railway design and was built by BRBritish Rail or British Railways at Swindon in 1950. In service it was electrically lit and steam heated.

It was acquired in the 1970s, and is situated at Highley adjacent to the Signal Box.
