In July 1969 it was one of 14 from there donated to the SVRSevern Valley Railway, of which 11 were used and 3 dismantled for spare parts. In 1971 the wagon was repainted in the fictitious livery of the “Lothian Coal Co., Newbattle. No 37".
By 1990, all but 4 had been cut up as beyond economical repair.[2] The Railway Heritage Register Wagon Survey includes a photo dated August 2010 by Gareth Price of the wagon in the storage area adjacent to Kidderminster Railway Museum, still carrying the fictitious "Newbattle 37" livery. By 2015 it was no longer at that location; the current location and status of this wagon are unknown.
