• 1898 The GWRGreat Western Railway Traffic Committee authorised the provision of a telephone connecting Ironbridge station, Jackfield Siding and Maw and Co's Siding.
• 2002 Virgin Voyager 4-car set 220025 was named Severn Voyager at Kidderminster. The set also made 2 return trips to Arley as part of the Diesel Gala.
