Bewdley water towers

On January 12 in SVR history.

• 1974 The foundation hole for the second water tower at Bewdley was filled with concrete.
• 1981 The ground frame at Leapgate Siding between Hartlebury and Stourport was taken out of use by BR.
• 1994 A fatal accident occurred at Waterworks Crossing when a locomotive struck a van negotiating the crossing. The SVR was later cleared of any blame for the accident.
