Talk:BR Class 20 D8059

I'm placing a call on the Batphone (as that should get a response from Robin!) for a bit more history on D8059 and D8188. I can't find much at all on the internet with regards to when they were preserved or their pre-SVRSevern Valley Railway history (if they had any). The owning group appears to have no online presence at all, so I suspect the SVRSevern Valley Railway News and knowledgable people are the only available sources. --Danny252 (talk) 11:09, 31 August 2016 (UTC)

Holy Choppers, Batman! I found a few bits and pieces by browsing around, although diesels don't get much coverage in SVRSevern Valley Railway News at the best of times, let alone when the great flood was in progress.
