Diesel Traction Group

Diesel Traction Group (DTG) was formed in 1977 from a group of six enthusiasts led by Chris Reid and Colin Massingham. As of 2015, the Group owns/manages four locomotives:
- D821 Greyhound: Class 42 ‘Warship’ (based at SVRSevern Valley Railway)
- D7029: Class 35 ‘Hymek (based at SVRSevern Valley Railway)
- D1015 Western Champion: BRBritish Rail or British Railways Class 53 ‘Western’ (based at Tyseley)
- D8568: BRBritish Rail or British Railways Class 17 ‘Clayton Type 1The British Railways classification for diesel locomotives of up to 1000 bhp’ (based at Chinnor & Princes Risborough)
