  • 1853 The first Severn Valley Railway Act received Royal Assent, authorising the construction of the railway.[1]
  • 1970 LMSLondon Midland & Scottish Railway Black 5 45110 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway from Ashford.[2]
  • 1972 Work began to refurbish Oldbury Viaduct.[3]
