A second similar crane was scrapped some years ago but its present form crane jib runner is now being converted into a rail-mounted survey vehicle for use in 2016. It is an opportunity to see parts of the railway not normally open to the public, including signal boxes, Bridgnorth loco works, Bewdley yard and Kidderminster carriage works with their dynamo test rigs (pictured)a Birmingham University science project. Unsurprisingly, there are a large number of questions about the SVR, both in pre-preservation days and for a number of historical items since then. Take a visit down to Query Corner to see if you have a recollection relating to some long forgotten event, or know of a reliable source (maybe an early edition of the SVR News?) that might have the information we need!

In addition are a number of stub articles requiring further input.
