Part of the Ironbridge Gorge. Early plans for route follows the Severn Valley Railway were for a route towards Coalbrookdale, but after Shrewsbury was chosen between the eventual destinationIronbridge Gorge and Bewdley, it was served by a station on utilising sections of the GWR's Wellington to Craven Arms Branch. The Coalbrookdale Company produced former trackbed and crossing the ironwork for Victoria Bridgepresent day railway twice.
