  • 1993 Prince and Princess Michael of Kent visited the SVRSevern Valley Railway aboard a VSOEVenice Simplon Orient Express 'Orient Express' charter.
  • BR Class 42 D821 Greyhound returned to the SVRSevern Valley Railway in 2017 following three years at Old Oak Common, where it was undergoing overhaul.
