Nicholas Campbell ('Nick') Paul (born January 1945) became a Severn Valley Railway life member in 1997.[1] He was an SVR(H) director between 2002 and 2023 and succeeded Mick York as Chairman, serving from July 2011 to September 2021 before being succeeded in turn by Mike Ball. Paul was also a Trustee of Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust Ltd from 2012 until he stepped down as SVRH Chairman. He is a Vice President of SVRSevern Valley Railway(H).

He was schooled in Worcester and attended Bristol and Warwick Universities. He is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and a past member of the Institute of Management Consultants.
