Guiseley Silica
Guiseley Silica is listed in the RCHRailway Clearing House 1938 Handbook of Stations as having a private siding at Kidderminster.
There is no information on the exact location or the nature of their business, however the name, and the fact that they operated two narrow gauge locomotives which were replaced by dump trucks by 1967[1] would suggest that they were involved in sand extraction from one of the many sand pits in the area.
