Having done this as a featured article, a couple of queries for Patrick.

  • The article used to read "Pictures of the repair work in progress can be seen in this news archive page on the SVR Live web site". The link no longer works. Is is still in the back end somewhere and is there another way of linking to it?
  • Any chance of us getting permission to use a picture of the latest repair work here as well as in Branch Lines?

Not sure which Sterns work you refer to? There was an SVRLive that Bill archived around 2016. Entries since then are there, even if hidden. (The size of SVRLive means it might again be archived, Bill Griffiths has said.) I don't know where the archive sits, but could ask? Both Chris Bond and Jonathan Symonds have agreed (private email) their pictures can be used on a creative commons basis.--Patrick Hearn (talk) 16:57, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

After one slip, I think the 1994 one, there was a survey from (from memory) Bournemouth Uni that established the plane. Is that in a contemporary SVRSevern Valley Railway News?--Patrick Hearn (talk) 17:00, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
