He joined mfg Solicitors LLP (then Morton Fisher) in 1984 and is an LLP Member (Partner) in the company commercial division of that firm. His practice is company and commercial law issues such as mergers and acquisitions, general commercial advice and contractual matters, though these days mainly commercial property.[1][2]

He has a wealth of charity experience from his active involvement with several building preservation trusts and as clerk to a large educational charity.
