‘Peep Behind the Scenes’ is an annual event which has been organised by The 4150 Fund. An additional £5.00 charge applied on the day for a wristband allowing access to areas normally closed to the public, including of course No 4150 in Bewdley Yard. Money raised through the sale of wristbands went towards the 4150 Restoration Fund.

Other areas to which access has been available in previous years have included Kidderminster Carriage Repair Works, Kidderminster Carriage Shed (via a shuttle train from Kidderminster Station), Kidderminster signal box, Bewdley North signal box, Bewdley Carriage & Wagon Department and Bridgnorth MPD.

In its 2017 newsletter the 4150 Fund announced that after seven years, it would no longer be organising the event, which is being taken over by the Charitable Trust.[1]
