Many artists have taken the Severn Valley Railway as inspiration for their paintings.

John AustinJohn Austin GRA, renowned Bridgnorth-based railway artist and Fellow of The Guild of Railway Artists

John AustinJohn Austin GRA, renowned Bridgnorth-based railway artist and Fellow of The Guild of Railway Artists has previously lived at Bridgnorth and worked on the SVRSevern Valley Railway as a volunteer. His paintings have been used for the pub signs at Bridgnorth and the front cover of the SVRSevern Valley Railway Timetable. He is a Fellow of the Guild of Railway Artists.

Neil Ferris

Neil Ferris of Stourport has painted several locomotives on the SVRSevern Valley Railway. Neil is a Member of the Guild of Railway Artists.

Alan Reade

Alan Reade, of Claverley, near Bridgnorth, has produced three series of paintings to raise funds for the restoration of GWR 4930 Hagley Hall and to upgrade the station buildings at Bridgnorth.

Dick Skilton

Shropshire artist Dick Skilton has painted all the stations on the SVRSevern Valley Railway

Sophie St. Clair Pedroza

Bewdley artist Sophie St. Clair Pedroza has produced a series of paintings based on the SVRSevern Valley Railway, some of which are available as prints from Bewdley Station Fund Shop.

Postcards

A series of six postcards was published to commemorate the reopening of the railway between Kidderminster and Bewdley on 30th July 1984, with illustrations by Peter Brant and David Postle.
