- 1967 GWR 0-6-0PT 813 left Backworth Colliery in Northumberland, beginning a three day journey by road to the SVRSevern Valley Railway.[1]
- 1985 LMSR 20 ton Ore Hopper 691804 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway.[2] It left in 2014
- 2000 Contractors completed the reinstatement of 100ft of track north of Knowlesands Tunnel which had been washed out by rain on 5 November.[3]
