  • 1856 Peto, Brassey and Betts signed the contract to build the Severn Valley Railway.[1]
  • 1900 Kidderminster and Stourport Electric Tramway made an application under the Light Railways Act to extend the tramway from Kidderminster to Bewdley. However work never began and the proposal was eventually abandoned.
  • 1968 LMS Jinty 47383 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway.[2]
  • 1980 The SVRSevern Valley Railway’s 3205, 43106, 45000, 600 Gordon, 80079, D1062 Western Courier and 3 coaches took part in the Rocket 150 celebrations at Rainhill.[3]
