The Manchester Rail Travel Society owns LMS Jinty 47383.

The Society promoted 'end of steam' railtours such as the 'Lancs & Yorks Rambler / The Mancunian' on 25th November 1967 [1] and co-promoted others with the Severn Valley Railway Society, such as the 'Farewell to B.R.British Rail or British Railways Steam' on 28th July 1968 [2] and 'North West Tour' on 27th April 1968 [3]
