- 1868 The GWRGreat Western Railway Act (ch 145) revived powers for construction of the Kidderminster Loop Line.[1]
- 1961 Passenger services were withdrawn on the Wyre Forest Line between Woofferton and Tenbury Wells.[2]
- 1971 1501 left Coventry Colliery, hauled by rail to Tyseley for wheel turning prior to a move to the SVRSevern Valley Railway.[3]
- 1984 BR Standard 75069 moved under its own steam for the first time in 18 years.[4]
- 1999 1501 took part in a three day Allied Steel and Wire photography event in Cardiff[5].
