On January 6 in SVRSevern Valley Railway history.
- 1961 Worcestershire County Council officers met to discuss their opposition to BRBritish Rail or British Railways's proposed closure of the Bewdley to Woofferton line.[1]
- 1970 BRBritish Rail or British Railways ended passenger services from Bewdley to Hartlebury and Kidderminster.[2]
- 1973 4930 Hagley Hall, 5164, 4141, 7819 Hinton Manor and the tender from Black Five 44888 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway from Barry. Tripped from Kidderminster to Bewdley in the same move were carriages 6045, 9615 and 26880.[3]
