- 1980 The SVRSevern Valley Railway was presented with the runner-up award for Arley in the Best Preserved Station Competition 1979 at a ceremony at Euston Station.[1]
- 1998 Filming for a laptop computer advertisement took place on platform 1 at Bewdley. Ivatt class 2 46521 appeared in the scene.[2]
