‘Starfish’ type open steel Ballast Wagon No 80603 was built at Swindon circa 1935-37.
It was purchased from BRBritish Rail or British Railways Swindon by SVRSevern Valley Railway(H) for PWPermanent Way Department use and arrived in November 1973.
