30903 Ballast Wagon

10-ton Ballast Wagon 30903 was built at Swindon in 1939 as Lot 1384 to Diagram P18 (SVRSevern Valley Railway Stock Book gives the date as 1941). It was one of a number of such wagons purchased from Swindon in November 1973 for P-Way Department use. It was rebuilt in 1986 and is painted in the GWRGreat Western Railway Engineers’ Department black livery. It is owned by The GWR 813 Preservation Fund.
