GWRGreat Western Railway Tool & Packing Van 143

This 4-wheel non-vented van was built at Swindon in 1913 and was used at Wolverhampton Stafford Road works.

It arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in 1972, and was initially restored a short time later. It was completely overhauled in 1986-87 which included a repaint into GWRGreat Western Railway Lake livery. In 2014 The 2857 Society transferred their spares from GWR 5043 Full Third to 143. It is seen at Bewdley Down Yard in March 2015.
