The coach was purchased from Wantage Road near Didcot, arriving on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in March 1976.[3] It is believed to be the only remaining outside framed example.[4] It is owned by the Great Western (SVR) Association, was outshopped in 1979 and underwent overhaul from 2004-2007.[5] The interior was restored and repainted in 2014.
It has previously seen use as Santa's Grotto and as a mobile store and is now used as a store at Arley at Christmas in conjunction with Santa's Grotto.
