It is a ‘MinkGWR telegraphic code signifying a covered goods van A’ 4-wheeled ventilated covered van with a 12 ton capacity.[1] It also carried the DepartmentalRolling stock used for the railway’s own functions (engineering etc.) rather than for general passenger or goods traffic. number DW 150066.
