The Severn Valley Railway is home to a number of diesel locomotives. These are used for shunting and also to haul certain passenger services. The Railway is also home to a 5-car Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU).

Most of the diesel locomotives are based at the Diesel Depot at Kidderminster. However operational diesel locomotives are also stationed at Bridgnorth and Bewdley.

The locomotive previously visited the SVRSevern Valley Railway in 2010-11 for repair work and Summer 2014 for hire.[3]
