  • 1858 The Worcester Herald reported that surveying work had been carried out for a branch line from the Severn Valley Line near Benthal Edge, through Wyke to Much Wenlock.[1]
  • 1986 BRBritish Rail or British Railways Mark 1 Corridor Seconds 24839, 24845, 25594 and 25686 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway from Old Oak Common for use as volunteer accommodation at Bridgnorth.
  • 2001 Pull Push Limited was incorporated as a private limited company. It owns GWR 1450.
  • 2018 BR Riddles 4MT 75069 made her first light engine test runs following a lengthy overhaul.[2] The locomotive had not been steamed since 1994.
