Ex British Sugar Open Wagon numbered ‘Highley Mining Co 136’

This 8-plank 13 ton capacity Tippler Wagon was one of 14 donated to the SVRSevern Valley Railway in July 1969 by the British Sugar Corporation at Foley Park, although by 1990 all but 4 had been cut up as beyond economical repair. The wagon is seen in the photograph adjacent to Kidderminster Railway Museum, in the fictitious livery of Highley Mining Co No 136.
