The Carriage & Wagon Department is effectively split in to two parts, with the three full time staff, and volunteers, based in the Paint Shop in Bewdley goods yard, focusing almost exclusively on carriages, while the majority of wagon repairs and restorations are carried out by the Wagon Department in the Goods Shed.
They also maintain the resident Ruston & Hornsby D2957 which is used for shunting duties in the yard and for shuttling rolling stock under restoration between Bewdley and Kidderminster.
