BRBritish Rail or British Railways Mark 1 Brake Second Corridor (BSK) 34606 was built at Gloucester in 1955 to diagram number 181, lot number 30141. It was later given the DepartmentalRolling stock used for the railway’s own functions (engineering etc.) rather than for general passenger or goods traffic. number DB 975481.

34606 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in 2012 from the Great Central Railway, having been purchased by SVR(H). It is converted with roller shutter doors and is used in conjunction with the Santa services. As of October 2016 it is located in the bay platform opposite Kidderminster Railway Museum, and carries the DepartmentalRolling stock used for the railway’s own functions (engineering etc.) rather than for general passenger or goods traffic. number above.
