- 1983 30777 Sir Lamiel arrived for a month's visit, becoming the first Southern Railway locomotive on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in preservation.[1]
- 1989 The Earl of Lindsay's LNER K4 3342 The Great Marquess was re-dedicated at a ceremony at Kidderminster.[2]
- 1997 The SVRSevern Valley Railway was visited by the 'Ariel Group Express', Turbo 165 011.[3]
- 2003 813 commenced seven weeks hire to the DeanWilliam Dean, Chief Locomotive Engineer of the Great Western Railway 1877-1902 Forest Railway[4].
