  • 1877 The GWRGreat Western Railway authorised the construction of Bewdley Footbridge, the extension of the island platform and the provision of a platform canopy at a cost of £1,666.[1]
  • 1969 GWRGreat Western Railway coaches 1086, 1087, 1146 and 7824 from the former Swindon test train all arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway.[2]
  • 1997 An EGM of SVR(H) voted to alter the Articles of Association to prevent payment of cash dividends or to make distributions upon winding up. This enabled the company to apply for Heritage and other charitable grants for the Kidderminster Carriage Shed project.[3]
  • 1998 45110 took the Christmas Chester Chuffer from Birmingham International to Chester and return
